Other grants in Exeter

If your project dosen’t meet the Grass Roots Grants Criteria there are other sources you can apply for funds in Exeter, some are listed here:

Ward Grants

Ward Grants are available for projects run by voluntary, community, and not-for-profit groups that benefit the residents and environment of Exeter City. Organisations are encouraged to discuss their application with their councillor before applying. The grant programme is open all year (until the funds are spent) and has a quick turnaround, usually between 4-6 weeks. You can apply for up to £300 per ward, per application.

City Grants

If your project or activities cover several wards or citywide initiatives then you are eligible to apply for this grant. You can apply for a grant up to £2,000. The city grants panel meets three times a year and deadlines are listed on the website.  The next deadline is 13th February 2018.

Wellbeing Exeter

Wellbeing Exeter has launched a new grants fund to support activities in communities. They offer grants from £500 to £2,000. The programme takes inspiration from the 5 Ways to Wellbeing framework, as set out by the New Economic Foundation.
